My design approach is to create timeless spaces that not only exude beauty, but provide function for my clients. The discussion always begins with how you want to live and feel in your home. I then build a design that fits your needs and in the end desire to create a space where laughter takes place, memories are made, and a place that gives you a sense of peace. My design leans towards a classic feel, yet with a modern clean edge. I believe in using simple, natural materials and layering them to the tell the story of the home as it unfolds.

PROFESSIONAL BIO
Paula graduated from the University of Montevallo where she studied different facets of interior and retail design. Over the last 11+ years she has expanded her portfolio within a range of design mediums whether it be commercial and residential design, photography, or editorial styling. She founded her blog, Two Ellie, in 2008 which has garnered her recognition within the design community. She has been published in B-Metro magazine, Fresh Style Magazine, Birmingham Magazine, Houzz.com and Birmingham Home & Garden. Most recently she was featured in The Handmade Home with HGTV. She has worked with a variety of nationally known brands that have produced lasting relationships. Today she strives to bring clients a space that they can enjoy for years to come as her passion for making a home beautiful never waned.

A designer & the blogger behind Two Ellie since 2008. A mother of two. A proud wife. An occasional cook. An avid book reader. A friend. A designer. A photographer. A mess most days. Two Ellie is a place for me to share my story as God has written it. The beauty and the mess. Two Ellie I hope becomes a space where you can have a "me-too" moment, where we can make beauty out of ashes, and continually be inspired by the gift's God has given each of us. A place where we strive to live life to it's fullest not to pinterest worthy perfection. We each have our own perfect and that's a place where I strive to dwell. Two Ellie began in 2008 as a stay at home moms need for another creative outlet that was my very own. Since then the blog has grown and what was once a hobby became a full time job and has opened up many new opportunities. I have met amazing people and I have been published in various outlets. I have had the privilege of partnering with the likes of Home Depot, Boden, Minted, Industry West and Fresh Style Magazine to name a few. I can't wait to see where this little blog takes me next!

Currently I am partnering with clients who need help selecting finishes and furnishings.
Providing designs for primary residences, vacation homes and local small-scale commercial projects. Paula will work with your architect, drafters and contractors to bring the vision to life. She will collaborate with the trades from floor plan development to finish selections, and all the little details in between. She also finds value in a simple refresh if that is all the project calls for.
The client will be presented a comprehensive overview which includes mood and design boards, illustrations and buying guides to help you visualize the design and concept of your home.
