A Carriage House redo in Rosemary Beach {my handy work}

One of the main reasons the kiddos and I went to Rosemary Beach last week was to help a friend with a carriage house update. They use it mostly for rental so we wanted to keep the costs down. This means we kept the main pieces of furniture and updated them with new accessories and coats of paint. The whole place got a good coat of Benjamin Moore China White. Although we did change out the counter tops in the kitchen we did keep the tile backsplash. It is not our favorite, but honestly after it was all said and done it really doesn't feel as obtrusive as they did before. All the brilliant art was done by the home owners mother and they truly are quite stunning. The only thing that was missing when I snapped the pics was the natural woven shade that will go in the bedroom loft. So happy to share some of the things I have been working on...

Oh, and in case you were wondering what it looked like before then here you go...

Home Sweet Home

We had the best time at the beach. The kiddos are at such a great age that I was even able to relax. I even managed to finish the last Hunger Game book in the matter of just a couple of days. They really are quite brilliant. Ellie's best friend and family were down at the same time we were so it made the trip extra fun for us all. Here are a few pics I took with my Iphone. It really is such a life saver when carrying around the pro cameras just isn't practical.

Spring Break + A Few Good Finds

Sometimes I think getting everything done before spring break is actually more hectic than the actual break. The kiddos and I are headed down to the beach for a few days for some fun and I will be working on a carriage house install. I thought I would get some posts ready for the week prior to our departure, but it doesn't look like that will be happening. The stunning bouquet is from a recent wedding that we had the honor of shooting. Perfect for spring like weather. You can see more of the wedding here. Also here are a few lovelies to fill in during my absence, hope you enjoy them as much as I do...

Here are a few blogs that I have been perusing lately and loving:
