STRIPPED

Yesterday I spent the day helping my sister strip an old dresser of mine. It's definitely a job for the patient, but is quite methodical. We are using citri-strip, which you can buy at any local hardware store, for it's less harsh affects. It's not quite finished, obviously. I could only help while the kids were at school yesterday so if our little town doesn't freeze over today I am hoping to pop by again and finish this lady up. The spots that did come off are giving me high hopes that this dresser can go bare. Fingers crossed! Of course if this turns into a hot mess then we will paint her up all pretty like. Either way you all will get a full reveal next week!

I'm Back...

Having that moment where I realize I haven't blogged in over a week after an amazing trip away and then have no idea where to begin. Do I blog about Disney even though I instagrammed up a storm? Do I just skip ahead and blog like normal? Where to start, where to start... Oh the blogger dilemmas. HA. How about a pic from Disney and then some favorite links? Best of both I say! Ellie took the pic of me and the Mr. I think she will make a mighty fine second shooter sooner than later!

- My nails look horrendous. I only wish I could get them done here. It's stunning and not local. Boo. Maybe I should open one up? If only.

- While away I tested two BB creams and I like them both. Which means I still can't decide which to purchase. Fist I tested Dr Jart the black label. While applying it looks too light, it only comes in one shade,  but after a minute of blending it looks seamless. I also tried Bobbi Brown BB in light. I love how I can't feel it at all since I'm not a big makeup wearer. I think I need a shade darker though. Do you all have any insight?

- I do know I love this mascara though! It does amazing things to my lashes. Plus I am not sure what I will do once my favorite blush runs out.

- I bought these right before our trip and I am pretty sure they won't leave my feet all summer long. They are also a perfect complement to this easy going dress.
