We added a couple of new frames to the shop and updated the home page! One is made of reclaimed barnwood and the other is more of a distressed black wooden frame. They will make great Mother's Day and wedding gifts! Of course graduation is also coming up and I know any grad would think this would be fun and special. I think it would be great to even do one with a group shot of all their friends. I gave one to Ellie's teacher over the holidays and she just adored it as I am hoping any teacher would. I really am loving our little shop and thank you to all who have been so supportive. Monika from the Splendid Willow made my day once I found out the love she gave me on her blog. Thank you Monika!!!! Can't believe Scripture with Pictures is almost 6 months old. I think a giveaway is in order very soon.
Turning Five {a party}
I have never seen one so excited about a birthday party. As he put it "This party will be incredible." Of course, this made my heart swell and all the extra hugs and kisses I got made this a great day for me too. This was by far the smallest party I have thrown for the kiddos. He made the list and it was a mere 20 people. His current fascination with legos made the theme easy to choose. It was all about bright colors and using your imagination. We had a craft table and a lego building area. Although the 60 something balloons was all I really needed to keep all the little ones entertained for hours. The decor was simple, the food was simple, and KJ could not have had any more fun.
five
Today is KJ's birthday! He turns 5 and I must say it is bitter sweet. My baby is no longer a baby, but I am loving the little man he is becoming. Tonight we are having a small party, but you know me and I love to make them extra special. He choose lego's as a theme so that is what we will do. Love making their dreams come to life!
