Branch Basics

I have spent many years trying to find a clean cleaning product that was minimal and actually worked. I think I finally found one! The results speak for themselves, but I can’t say enough good things. This is the kids bathroom and no it is not always that gross. We have been renovating our master bath, because the leaks got out of control. Then while that was happening the kids bathroom sink started to leak. UGH. This house is from 1948 and the way plumbing used to be done is that the drain pipe was welded into the wall. There is no unscrewing and installing a new one. My plumber came up with the idea of just starting new through the floor so we would not have to remove the tile. The tile in here is not what I would choose, but it is not bad. Sometimes making things work is 100 times better than starting again. We had a new vanity made to fit this tiny space and once it is all back together I will be sure to share. Now back to cleaning, Branch Basics is an all purpose cleaner that does wonders. For here, I followed the directions and used the oxygen booster by sprinkling some on the floor and allowing it to soak with the all purpose cleaner. It did take some work, but it all came clean. I couldn’t believe it. I then tried the oxygen booster in a load of of clothes that had my sons sport shirts in them and the smell came out! I have tried all the things. Soaking them in vinegar, not a clean sport detergent, spraying the arm pits with stain remover, etc and nothing truly took the smell out. I even threw away a few shirts, because I was at a loss of what to do. I am so grateful to now have a solution and so is he. Anyhow, this is not a sponsored post even if it does read like one. It genuinely is just a clean product I was excited to share.

They do have a a $10 off code if you happen to want to try it. They have a trail pack of the all purpose cleaner and that is what I got originally. I did not want to waste anymore money on things that simply don’t work. Now I will get the concentrate since I found it to be a win.

Here and There

Life according to my iPhone...

I had the privileged of designing a bridal luncheon. My only guidelines were to keep it simple, elegant, and organic in feel. So that is exactly what I did. Greens cut from a garden in varying off white pots. Disposable bamboo plates and cutlery. Mason jars to drink out of with rose gold straws. The napkins had the sweetest scallop and another touch of rose gold. Of course scattered candle light was a must atop a simple kraft paper runner.

The best part was being able to take home cut greens for around my own home.

A snippet of the corporate design job I've been working on while it was still in process. It's almost done!

I've had little time to work on the house so I can only pick and choose what to tackle next. The grossest, but one of the most satisfying tasks of the week was scrubbing out the powder room floors with this nifty little brush. The tile has pores throughout that were caked with grime and the grout was dark with things I probably don't want to think about. On the right you can see the difference of scrubbing out every little pore. Now to find a good sealer. Any recommendations?
